Core Facilities

The Centre for Integrative Biology (CIBIO) provides a range of cell biology, genomics, and informatics research resources and services to the University of Trento community as well as to investigators outside of the university.

Currently, the Centre runs eight core facilities, all managed by highly qualified and dedicated personnel:

  • High Throughput Screening (HTS) Core Facility
  • Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Core Facility
  • Cell Analysis and Separation Core Facility
  • Advanced Imaging Core Facility
  • Mass Spectrometry (MS) Core Facility
  • Bioinformatics Core Facility
  • Model Organism Facility (MOF)
  • Cell Technology and Engineering Core Facility

The Core Facility managers and technicians assist researchers in the design, set up, and, if required, execution of the experiments.

In order to provide a long-term sustainability of this valuable scientific infrastructure, users of CIBIO’s facilities are asked to contribute to the expenditure of the service and are charged accordingly.
