Anita Lavorgna will start working as lecturer in Criminology at the University of Wolverhampton in September 2014. She has recently completed a traineeship at Europol, and serves as co-editor of The European Review of Organised Crime (EROC)—an editorial project born under the aegis of the ECPR’s Standing Group on Organised Crime (SGOC). Anita received her PhD in International Studies in April 2014 majoring in Criminology. She completed a dissertation on the relationship between traditional transit crimes and the Internet. During her PhD she spent periods as visiting scholar at VU Amsterdam and Rutgers University, and as visiting research student at Jill Dando Institute of Security and Crime Science, University College London. Her research interests include global criminology and cybercrime, and she has published on organized crime in international journals. She has an LLM with honors from the University of Trento.
