Undergraduate course in Environmental and Land Engineering

Nowadays environment quality has more of an impact on our lives than it has ever had before.

Economic growth and wellbeing are now strictly connected to respect for the environment, to efficient management of earth resources and to land monitoring. Production systems are also increasingly in need of environmental safety guidelines, innovation in the treatment of resources, and strategies to reduce pollution.

Environmental engineering is about creating sustainable solutions to environmental problems. It involves the implementation and management of engineering solutions and programs that are in harmony with the principles of sustainable development.

Environmental engineers are the technical professionals who identify  and design solutions for environmental problems. They work to provide safe drinking water, treatment of wastewater and disposal of solid waste, and to maintain air and water quality.

We offer students two different three-year degree paths sharing a sound basic preparation in the first two semesters.

The path of the “curriculum metodologico” (methodological learning path) leads the students to enrolment in the two-year  Master’s course in Environmental and Land Engineering.

The path of  the “curriculum professionalizzante” (vocational learning path) provides the students with a technical preparation to start working at the end of the undergraduate course.
